Following early training as an accountant Michael built a successful career as Commercial Director of a services business. He completed an MBA in 2001.

His 12 years in executive search began with a five year period in Australia before a move back to London and the growth of a telecoms practice. Michael subsequently went on to become a director of Hanover Matrix, then UK Managing Director of Nicholson International. Prior to establishing the Mars Partnership he was a founding Partner of Nexec Partners, a boutique search practice, focused on the appointment of both non-executive and senior executive in the early/mid stage company environment.

Michael has specialised throughout his career in the ICE sectors on an international basis.
