Alan Wright
Alan Wright is the Head of Strategy and New Business Development
for Motorola Mobile Devices EMEA + India. |
Wright’s current role is to formulate
and implement the strategy for the multi billion$ business, and
by so doing, identify, and own “New business Development”
activities. As part of this he is responsible for identifying strategic
solutions, building the relevant ecosystems, which may include M&A
or JV’s, and bringing the solution to market.
Prior to assuming his current position, Wright
was the Business Development Director in Motorola’s Fixed
Mobile convergence business. During his time with Motorola he has
also managed the Telecom Italia account, which generated $300m and
was a founding member of a professional services start up within
Motorola.
Before joining Motorola
in 2000, Wright held a number of positions with system integrators
and professional service companies. He therefore brings an unusual
perspective of services, SI, and telecoms expertise, operationalized
in technology, BD and strategy, with an impressive record of bringing
disruptive technologies to market.
